Lesson 10 - Nines (Method 1)
Using your fingers 
Step 1

Put your hands on the table in front of you.

Step 2
Your fingers represent the numbers 1 through 10.
Step 3

Curl under the FOURTH finger to represent 4 x 9.

Step 4

 - Each finger to the left of the curled finger represents 10. Say 10, 20, 30.
 - Each finger to the right of the curled finger represents one.  Count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.  (Or 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 369 x 4 = 36
