HELP your child learn the facts

For each multiplication fact your child has problems with, do the following:

• CHOOSE THE FACT - Select the multiplication fact using the navigation bar to the right

• CONCEPT - Spend a few minutes reviewing the cookie representation of the problem

• BASE PICTURE - Review the base pictures used for the multiplication fact.

• VIDEO STORY - Watch and listen to the video going through the picture and the story (You may want to watch it a few times)

• REHEARSAL -

  • Close your eyes and 'see' the picture and review the story

  • Without looking at the video, draw the picture

  • Write the story for the multiplication fact in your own words

• ACTIVITIES - Choose from some of the activities to help anchor the story and picture
