1. Act Out Story:
Have students act out a multiplication
fact story. Have them pretend they are the characters in the stories.
2. Balloon Drawings:
Have students draw the characters from
a multiplication fact story on a deflated balloon with fine point permanent
markers. Inflate the balloons and use them as characters while acting out
the story.
3. Banner:
Have the students design a banner for
each multiplication fact. Each banner should include the fact and the
picture. Display them around the room.
4. Book:
Have students compile their artwork or
fact charts into a multiplication fact book.
5. Bulletin Board:
Divide a large bulletin board into
many smaller bulletin boards. As you add new multiplication facts, display
the students’ drawings on the sections of the bulletin board.
6. Chalk Drawings:
Have students use chalk to illustrate
a multiplication fact story.
7. Clay Sculptures:
Have students sculpt clay models of
the objects and characters used to remember a multiplication fact story.

Coloring:
Have students color the multiplication
coloring pages and organize them into a coloring book.
9. Crayon Drawings:
Have students use crayons to
illustrate a multiplication fact story.
10. Colored Pencil Drawings:
Have students use colored pencils to
illustrate a multiplication fact story.
11. Concentration:
Use the flash cards to play
Concentration. Match the answer with the picture, the answer with the
fact, or the picture with the fact.
12. Cross Number Puzzle:
Have students use graph paper to
design a cross number puzzle using the multiplication facts. (A cross number
puzzle is a crossword puzzle with numbers instead of words.)
13. Finger Painting:
Have students use finger paints to
illustrate a multiplication fact story.
14. Glitter Art:
Have students draw a multiplication
fact story picture with glue, and then sprinkle colored glitter on it.
15. Mobile:
Have students design a mobile using
the pictures from the multiplication fact stories.
16. Model:
Have students use papier mache to
build a model of the characters or events in the stories.
17. Mural:
Have students create a giant mural of
the multiplication fact stories.
18. Sand Painting:
Have students make a sand painting to
illustrate a multiplication fact story. Have them draw the picture with
glue, and then sprinkle colored sand over it.
19. Shaving Cream Art:
Spray a pile of shaving cream on each
students’ desk. Have students illustrate the multiplication fact stories.
(Shaving cream is a great desk cleaning soap).
20. Yarn Art:
Have students design a picture of a
multiplication fact using yarn glued to a piece of paper.
